AddressRonald McDonald House Randwick provides accommodation for families of seriously ill or injured children travelling more than 100kms away who are being treated at Sydney Childrens Hospital. But we are more than just a bed!
So, we are looking for a person who has a bright, enthusiastic personality and flexibility to join our team as a Junior Family Administrator who will help make a beautiful difference for our families.
This role is full time 12-month contract with view to permanency and with an immediate start.
Hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm
Your role will be responsible for:
- Providing a warm welcome to families when they arrive at Ronald McDonald House and providing family orientations.
- Completing administration tasks accurately and promptly.
- Data entry is 100% accurate.
- Developing an understanding of IPTAAS processes and practices
- Accepting donations and completing QR codes forms.
- Placing orders for; linen, cleaning and other house supplies.
- Ensuring that rooms checking out are cleaned thoroughly by contract cleaner and complete inspections before families arrive.
- Ensure stock of welcome packs and placed in room before families arrive.
- Ensuring the kitchen is ready for Home For Dinners, High Teas.
- Receive and put away food deliveries for home for dinners, oz harvest etc.
- Ensure all mail is promptly passed on to the appropriate guest or staff member.
- Answering questions from families regarding the facilities and ensuring they are aware of what is available to them.
- Engaging positively with staff and volunteers and seeking assistance and support when required
- Ensure RMHC policies and practices are implemented and adhered to.
- Contribute to risk mitigation including reporting any identified health & safety and child protection risks to your Manager.
- Must be COVID vaccinated - minimum 2 vaccinations.
**This role does not have any work from home capacity due to the importance of its front facing nature.
