Parable Productions are offering a great opportunity for an entry level Graphic Designer to join our Graphic Design / Marketing & Sales Support team in our fast-paced multi-media company.
We publish a range of monthly digital magazines, run various websites, send out daily E-Newsletters and client EDMs, also producing social promotional material for posting as a part of producing our 3 x lifestyle television shows that run weekly on a major free-to-air network.
We’re looking for a person who is passionate about design, who has an interest in marketing to join our team and assist in the support of our sales and production teams.
You will also be required from time to time to create digital ads, often working with clients on these, along with competition promos and social media posts. This role is a hybrid role of graphic design, marketing and sales support.
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to design our 40 + e-magazines that we produce and send out each year.
- Support the production of communications materials including Electronic Direct Mail, the weekly e-newsletters, promotional materials, invitations and website content.
- Design social media creative content across all platforms including advertising videos
- Creating marketing assets for our website, digital marketing and social media channels.
- Ensuring all assets delivered answer the brief and are on-brand.
- Oversee the implementation of effective and successful EDM and automation strategies.
- Evaluate & identify opportunities for improved EDM activities and success on client accounts
- Focus on continuous marketing optimisation strategies through data analysis, testing, and innovation
- Collaborate with implementation team on design and copywriting to ensure on time delivery of campaigns
- Assist Sales team to prepare contracts and client reports
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies through self-directed learning and stay current in a rapidly evolving industry.
About You
- Experience with Adobe, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop etc
- Experience in email marketing and managing/mailing lists through platforms such as Excel, MailChimp or Campaign Monitor will give you an advantage
- Clear, concise and effective written and verbal communicator
- Experience / Understanding designing to supplied brand guidelines
- Ability to execute a design brief, follow instructions and apply feedback
- The ability to be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and drive
- A proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
- Well organised with the ability to forecast and forward-plan
- A design degree or equivalent ideal
- A basic knowledge of HTML would be helpful but not necessary
- We currently use digital publishing platforms: Campaign Monitor for our EDM's and ZMags for our e-Magazines and will tutor you in the art of uploading to these platforms
- Photography skills is a bonus!
