About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Helpdesk Technician to join our team and assist us in achieving our goal of making our Clients exceptionally happy. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, in this role, you will handle first-level support requests that come in from our Clients. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing queries through our ticketing system, utilizing our Monitoring and Management tools, participating in project work, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and working within the wider team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to staff and clients via phone and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure software applications, printers, and network systems.
• Conduct maintenance and updates on operating systems and business applications.
• Monitor and manage network systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Work in a team environment to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
• Work autonomously to prioritize tasks and meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Requirements:
• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and basic networking.
• Sound knowledge of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, "get it right the first time" attitude.
