Junior Industrial Designer

POPP Unlimited is a design and manufacturing company specializing in design and manufacturing Point of Purchase Display hardware and product packaging solutions working with a variety of Brands and products.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Industrial Designer with a focus on Conceptual and Industrial Design.

With a core focus on design and project management duties, this role requires you to be an all-rounder as there is scope to expand your skills across many facets of our business including: Estimating, Sourcing and Procurement, Production Operations, Warehouse, and co-ordinating Logistics.

POPP Unlimited is a creative retail Point of Purchase & Packaging Design Agency with manufacturing facilities. We specialize in helping our clients develop, design and execute their retail presence Point of Purchase & Packaging hardware solutions across temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent display categories.  

As shopper marketing enthusiasts, we are passionate about ‘Bringing Brands to Life’ by creating impact and shopper engagement through our creative innovative hardware designs and solutions. Requirements:

- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, with some design experience

- Knowledge of graphic design, particularly using the Adobe Suite including Photoshop is preferred (but not mandatory)

- Proficiency in using Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and be proactive, with a positive and go-getter attitude

- Demonstrate strong time and project management skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

- Must have strong command of the English language and is an effective communicator (internally and externally)

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment

- Must have good work ethic and is not a clock watcher!

- A quick learner with a passion and willingness to learn

Our office is based in Penrith - so ideal for someone who is a local or live in Greater Western Sydney. 

Salary packaging: $55K-$60K for the right candidate.
