AddressComputergate offers a full range of IT HARDWARE Field Services to provide comprehensive and cost effective support services for all size businesses. We are currently seeking a Junior IT Service Technician at our client site by delivering on-site service in Sydney to deliver on-site service. The duration for this role is 6 months, with the possibility to extend.
Issue Management:
- Capture incidents in the issue log.
- Escalate incidents to relevant individuals and support teams for support.
- Coordinate with end users and support teams to capture additional details to support investigation.
- Provide ad hoc updates to relevant stakeholders on items in the issue log.
- Accurately maintain issue log with updates.
Change Management
- Create IT support content including:
- Reference guides
- Knowledge base articles
- WalkMe guided tours
- Email communications
- Create IT promotional content including:
- Workplace posts
- Basic presentations
- Email communications
- Maintain updates to system content as changes occur.
- Improve system content over time based on feedback from content consumers and other relevant stakeholders.
Hardware Deployment Scheduling and Communication
- Maintain schedule of EOL hardware to be replaced on the decided frequency (i.e. monthly / quarterly).
- Manage communications to team members advising of hardware to be replaced.
- Manage meeting invites for hardware replacement events.
- Coordinate with Digital Bar on hardware to be built.
- Support end users at hardware replacement events.
- Support the dispatch and collection of hardware at hardware replacement events.
Required Skills
- Tech Savvy – natural affinity with technology
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Project Management (junior is ok)
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
