Key Responsibilities:
- IT Regional and Global Help Desk Support:
- Respond to end-user inquiries and provide first-level technical support through various communication channels, including phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues in a timely manner.
- System Setup and Configuration:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of regional and global IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to deploy and update system components.
- Cable Connections:
- Manage and troubleshoot cable connections for network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
- Coordinate with network administrators to address connectivity issues and maintain a robust network environment.
- General Tech Support:
- Provide hands-on and remote support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
- Assist end-users with technical issues and inquiries, delivering effective solutions and guidance.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of support activities, including system configurations, cable connections, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of knowledge base articles for common technical issues.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring clear and concise communication with end-users.
- Educate users on best practices and self-help resources to empower them to resolve common issues independently.
- Collaboration:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Relevant Information Technology qualification.
- Solid understanding of system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on general desk set-up.
- Proficient in cable connections and network configurations.
- Familiarity with common operating systems, including Windows and MacOS.
- Available for after hours support escalate tickets and general trouble shooting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
