Junior It Support Engineer

Sydney based IT Managed Services Provider is looking for a Junior IT support professional to satisfy the ongoing IT support needs for its customers. 

For more than 25 years AceNet Solutions has been providing end-to-end IT support services to our customer's delivering a range of IT services including server, networking, desktop, mobility, virtualisation and cloud computing. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic junior candidate who has good competency in IT and is willing to learn the best proven methods for resolving day to day IT service requests.

The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in an IT support position. In this role, you will have the chance to engage with a broad range of the latest IT technologies. If you have skills in providing general IT support services and have a desire to further extend your knowledge whilst working with a dynamic and fun team, this opportunity is perfect for you.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate as training towards Microsoft 365 Certification is provided along with an attractive salary package.

The successful applicants will have:

* Excellent verbal and written Communication skills are essential  
* A strong customer focus and the ability to develop sound working relationships with clients
* Tertiary IT qualifications (University or College/TAFE)
* Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* A strong service ethic and have a proactive, energetic approach to IT support
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise & work to deadlines
* A desire to extend knowledge and gain further experience
* Ability to follow instructions and also be able to work unsupervised

Applicants must also possess:

* Entry level troubleshooting skills for Operating Systems and Applications (Microsoft Windows & Mac OS within modern workspace environments)
* Exposure to Microsoft Office 365 administration including Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint and One Drive
* Experience in configuring and installing computer hardware onsite (Desktop/Laptop/Networking Equipment)
* Networking & Wi-Fi knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN's etc.)
* Anti-Virus End Point Protection Kaspersky/Webroot/TrendMicro
* A valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle 

The Following is an advantage but not essential:

* Microsoft MCSE/MCITP/MCP certification
* Exposure to websites and CMS's such as WordPress 
* Exposure to VOIP technologies (MS Teams Telephony)
* Exposure to Audio Visual technologies
* Firewall Installation / management skills (e.g. Fortinet Firewalls or similar)
