About Us
JHK Legal is a dynamic and growing Australian law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior Lawyer to join our Banking and Finance Law team.
Position Overview
As a Junior Lawyer specialising in Banking and Finance Law, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of Banking and Finance transactions. This role offers a supportive environment for career growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research on Banking and Finance Laws and regulations to support the team in providing accurate and up-to-date advice
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to Banking and Finance transactions, including loan agreements, mortgages and security documents and regulatory compliance
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing legal support and assistance under the guidance of senior lawyers to settle files
• Using PEXA for streamlined and efficient electronic conveyancing
• Contribute to due diligence processes, ensuring thorough examination of relevant legal aspects in Banking and Finance matters
• Manage and organise legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
Qualifications
• Australian legal practitioner and have a minimum of 2-4 years’ post admission experience
• Experience in land title transactions, commercial leasing, residential and commercial property matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
