Graduate - Junior Lawyer Role- up to 2 years post admission experience

This role is well suited to a Graduate or Junior Lawyer, offering a variety of interesting and diverse work supporting our Insolvency, Litigation and Commercial Teams including:
- general carriage and management of your own files under direct partner supervision;
- undertaking legal research and preparing draft letters of advice to clients;
- collating briefs;
- drafting deeds, contracts, court documents and general correspondence;
- meeting and attending with the partners, clients, counsel, lawyers and other professionals;
- preparing files for court hearings, attending court and assisting to instruct counsel at court;
- preparing professional education (CLE) papers and external client newsletters and presentations;
- drafting documents for submission to government regulatory bodies such as ASIC and the ACCC; and
- assisting generally in the day-to-day management and administration of files.
These tasks are conducted under the close supervision and guidance of senior members of our firm. You will also work with other lawyers within the firm, and junior and senior barristers outside the firm.
You need to be able to respond to priorities as well as manage the broad range of ongoing activities that support a well-functioning legal environment.
Experience in a Law Firm would be highly advantageous.
