Key Responsibilities 1/2

Maintenance Job

  • Support EM team in ensuring that all plant machineries and equipment are in good condition and implementation/execution of preventive maintenance, implementation of HSE program especially those that requires engineering solutions and interventions. Reactive maintenance will be done w/in a day.
  • To perform, lead and supervise plant operations, process, projects and maintenance that includes but not limited to respective staff management, inter department coordination, plant operability, efficiency and maintainability, products quality, meeting the demand of customers, safety, health and environment and cost efficiency.
  • Identify and maintain stock for critical spare parts according to VIS (Vital, Important, Secondary) protocol.
  • To be responsible for the smooth operations of all the Utilities equipment.
  • Oversee all plant upgrading and improvement projects and be the main contact point for stakeholders, field staff and contractors.
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Controlling & updating all plant drawing includes PID, PFD, layout drawings, shop floor drawings of the plant.
  • To lead reliability studies on critical equipment including mechanical integrity of the Plant & Utilities.
  • Lead department's risk assessment/analysis (OSH-RA, ERA, JSA & HAZOP)/ PHA follow up action and review effectiveness of control measures/mitigation.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Planning, scheduling and executing Master time base maintenance (PM) schedule with external contractors in carrying out timely preventive maintenance programs on mechanical and environmental protection system in order to maintain the best possible working condition.
  • Implement/execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedule of all machineries, equipment, building and facilities.
  • Conduct Integrity check up and inspection of all machines, equipment, building and facilities.
  • Perform corrective maintenance works, servicing, trouble shooting of all machines, equipment, building and facilities, repair works in electro-mechanical of plant machines and equipment (Pneumatics controls and parts, PLC sequence and programs), minor fabrication works (welding, oxy-acetylene).
  • Perform and implement project management given to the department.
  • Prepare material estimates as per approved plan and design for plant improvements (Electrical, Mechanical and Civil works).
  • Keep updated records of all spare parts availability and specifications.
  • Evaluate, validate, inspect, test all received parts, spare parts, supplies, materials, machining works, new machine and equipment.
  • Ensure that all withdrawn tools, supplies, spare parts are being handled properly to avoid damage and wastage
  • Ensure that all Instrument Material Test Equipment (IMTE) are calibrated in time (In-house/external)
  • Observe good housekeeping at the shop floor and in other areas where work are being done.

  • Implement and enforce environmental and safety standards.
  • Identify, modify and upgrade unsafe condition of machines, equipment, building, and its facilities.
  • Conduct regular check up, inspection of adopted standard safety measures.
  • Prepare and submit safety observation and accomplishment report.

Others

  • Study and prepare plans for Innovation Projects
  • Supports IT in minor trouble shooting

On technical experience:

  • Pipe fitting, basic carpentry, Basic knowhow in electro-mechanical, electrical works (motor controllers, PLC controller).
  • Usage of different types of maintenance and engineering tools
  • Can read plans and design and knows how to prepare material estimates in projects
  • Can do mechanical-electrical works (vise versa)
  • At least 1-2 years in maintenance & engineering management in industrial manufacturing

On Supervisory/Management experience:

  • At least 1 to 2 years experience in people management.

On Project Management

  • Experience is a plus factor

Education

  • Bachelor degree (in order of priority) Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed
