JUNIOR MAINTENANCE PERSON
The King David School in Armadale is seeking a full time Junior Maintenance person to join our school facilities team. This role would suit someone recently finished school and looking for a start in the maintenance industry.
Working with a small and dedicated crew, with collaborative and supportive management, you will be responsible for providing maintenance support to the school ensuring buildings, properties, and major plant and equipment are adequately maintained to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
The person we are seeking will be a self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise work schedules. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are important in a school environment, as is a strong customer service focus – a "can-do" attitude.
This is a position with room for growth. Onsite training will be provided to ensure knowledge of all principles of maintenance and activities required to maintain property, assets, grounds and equipment. Basic tool knowledge would be desirable.
This position requires an individual with a valid driver license and a current employee Working with Children Check.
