We are seeking an energetic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team located in Balcatta for 20 hours a week.
Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the ideal candidate must be able to implement digital campaigns that drive our state-wide business goals, create engaging content across a variety of platforms, and supporting the team to maintain exceptional customer communications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving the creation, scheduling and maintenance of creative marketing content, including those related to print, web, video, social media, website, and email.
- EDM campaign management - planning, execution, and delivery.
- Assisting with the development and delivery of digital and social media strategies, plans and advertising. Monitor results and provide recommendations.
- Supporting key internal stakeholders to manage events and workshops across the state, ensuring they are setup and promoted effectively to increase brand engagement and drive sales.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is creative, engaged and enjoys working in a close-knit positive environment. You will be an all-rounder with a strong interest in digital while also having strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an early career marketing/communications professional who is looking to gain experience in a key industry.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or to be graduating in marketing or communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, specifically English.
- Highly organised, excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proofreading and collating information into an easily digestible format.
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills to drive results, including the use of Google Analytics, Meta Suite and LinkedIn Ads.
- Previous experience using Canva for graphic design and content creation.
- Knowledge of Hubspot and the skills for image and video creation/resizing/editing are preferred but not required.
- Experience in digital marketing, marketing automation and relevant analytics tools preferred but not required.
