Key responsibilities:
- Build financial sales, gross margin, and inventory plans on a weekly basis at an item level
- Create a pricing strategy by item that maximises sales and gross profit
- Re-forecast business in-season based on current performance, present revised projections and recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior leadership
- Create and plan product assortments (item, colour, size) for each product category
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, ie. Marketing and Operations, to ensure the success of product strategies
- Work with visual merchandisers to execute monthly layouts across different store formats
- Generate reports as requested by business partners, or senior executives
- 1 to 3 years of experience in planning/merchandising/inventory optimisation is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent analytical ability; Quick learner
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
- Sense of urgency and accuracy
- Demonstrated sensitivity to cross-cultural environments
