You will be responsible for merchandise planning and in collaboration with Category Managers, curate the Khub range offer. You will also coordinate inventory flow requirements with the inventory team including maintaining system parameters for D&F as well as undertaking regular and proactive analysis of merchandise and store performance in order to maximise the department's financial outcomes. What you'll be doing: Merchandise Strategy for the assigned portfolio in partnership with the merchandise team Develop and assist in building the merchandise range utilising assortment-planning methodologies to achieve budget objectives. In partnership with Khub Manager/manage the KHub merchandise financial plan to achieve sales, calculate income, stockturn budgets. Assist with preparing budgets and forecasts in line with required timelines (i.e. within both the Buying and Budgeting critical path). Trade the portfolio Reviw and analyse sales and inventory performance to obtain financial KPI's. Manage any gap between the forecast and the budget (i.e. where the forecast falls short of the budget, presents and implement plans to close the gap in conjunction with Senior Planner). Quantify seasonal, new lines and advertised merchandise as per the strategy/, merchandise plan and range plan. Manage product lifecycles to make strategic tactical investment/divestment decisions. Inventory Planning and Time Management Range flag Y/N in IPM to ensure the range moves into the Demand & Fulfilment system Confirming apparel options for apparel inventory teams (and if available, managing a ranging solution in KAT) Business and Commercial Acumen Run weekly, monthly and seasonal reports to support team in analysing department Provide recommendations and implement action plans in order to maximise the department's financial outcomes Managing Risk and Quality Ordering and order follow up of required merchandise Ensuring adequate stock levels for New Store opening and Store Refurbishment relaunches Service and Delivery Focus Maintain availability of all products for stores at agreed targets Input into setting LSPLs (within lead time or agreement with Inventory) to generate orders for ends.
