I am working alongside an exicitng Managed Service Provider focusing on Network Engineering within a range of industries including government, non-profit, defence, corporate and education? In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and working with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto and more!
As a Junior Network Engineer you will have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Maintaining network security by monitoring security threats and vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to mitigate risk
- Installing, configuring, and testing new network hardware and software
- Coordinating with IT staff to plan new network installations or upgrades of existing networks
- Troubleshooting network problems by testing network components for malfunctions or defects
So what are we looking for?
- Hands on technical experience in Cisco Routing & Switching (2+ years)
- Strong understanding of Firewalls (hands on experience is highly desirable)
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Residendancy is needed for this role
