Our client is a dynamic and innovative Global/National player in the Oil and Gas industry who are committed to excellence in providing services and innovative solutions for the upstream sector to help locate, analyse, and extract oil and natural gas from onshore & offshore fields. As they continue to expand their operations, we are seeking motivated and talented individuals to join the team as a Junior Operator.

Position Overview:

We are looking for Junior Operators to support and assist in activity/duty as necessary to help achieve objectives in all functions our clients’ operations in the Oil and Gas sector being performed. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for development & career growth within our clients organization as well as access to their rewards program.

Responsibilities:

• Support, advise, and assist the Operator in all functions of both daily Operations and Administration responsibilities being performed
• Participate in the servicing and maintenance of all equipment being used
• Operate and monitor equipment in accordance with Company Procedures and Policies
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving both operational and administrative issues
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth & efficient operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe personal and working environment
• Document and report operational data as required
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills, knowledge, and safety

Qualifications & Skills:

• Teamwork and cooperation
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Health, Environmental and Safety application
• Collaborates effectively
• Trade qualification would be looked at favourably
• Current Drivers License
• Current HR (minimum) truck license preferred but not essential
• Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential
• High Risk Crane License preferred but not essential.
• Basic computer skills preferred but not essential.
