Junior Payroll Officer

u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with a market leader within the health industry, to recruit a permanent Junior Payroll Officer to join their collaborative, high performing team on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

If you are a Junior Payroll Officer seeking a collaborative team environment that is dedicated to continuous growth and improvement, then this opportunity is perfect for you!

The daily, weekly and monthly duties are as follows;

• Fortnightly payroll process for permanent employees;
• Onboarding and maintaining employee files;
• Understanding of payroll legislation and award interpretation;
• Termination, redundancy and leave calculations;
• STP and Superannuation reconciliations;
• Payroll tax calculations; and
• Query management.

The Candidate

• 1-2 years of experience in working in a payroll position, with exposure with end to end payroll process;
• Timesheet processing and data entry;
• Confident with written and verbal communication;
• Detail oriented and ability to problem solve;
• Excellent customer service with a focus on putting the customer first;
• Dayforce experience advantageous but not essential; and
• Intermediate to advance excel skill are required.
