Veolia ANZ is seeking a talented Junior Project Engineer to join our dynamic project delivery team based in Cameron Park, 2285. This exciting role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team working across a diverse portfolio of projects that drive ecological transformation.
As a global leader in ecological solutions, Veolia operates and maintains 26 water and wastewater treatment plants in the Hunter Area. Our Projects team plays a crucial role in delivering asset replacements, improvements, upgrades, and innovative solutions for the mechanical, electrical, process, and civil equipment at these facilities.
As the Junior Project Engineer, you will contribute to the execution of projects aimed at enhancing the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of our water and wastewater treatment operations.

- Assist the project management team in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless delivery, safety compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, aligning strategies to achieve shared goals set by Alliance leadership.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including plans, estimates, tenders, reports, and business cases with precision and attention to detail.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and statutory authorities, fostering strong relationships and representing our Alliance with professionalism.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency and excellence.
- Actively contribute to cultivating a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and outstanding outcomes.
- Currently pursuing a tertiary qualification in engineering with 1 year remaining until graduation, OR a relevant tertiary qualification
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
