We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team in Western Australia.
The Opportunity
This role will report to the Engineering Manager and Senior Project Manager.
As the ADENCO Junior Project Engineer your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Commitment to a "No Harm Culture" and "Lost Time Injury" free workplace. Leading the team by example and engaging the workforce to maintain our excellent safety record.
- Safe Delivery of all aspects of the projects you work on.
- Work a 2/1 project roster on site with the rest of the Project team.
- Managing and protecting Client Relationships to ensure further opportunities will be secured.
- Understand and administering the budget, methodology and schedule for each project.
- Organisation of resources required to complete the works - Labour, equipment and materials.
- Manage the profitability of the project in line with the Company Expectations.
- Implement the construction strategy and manage Client expectations to achieve PC within the timescales required as well as FC in line with the Contract.
- Ensure projects comply with Client specifications and applicable standards and any other legal or regulatory requirements.
- Compilation and implementation of MDR's, ITP's, Methodologies, SWMS, SOP's.
- Have the right to work in Australia;
- Hold a Qualification in Engineering and have at least 3 years' experience working in the resource industry of Western Australia,
- Have strong proven qualities of leadership with influencing and presentation skills and ;
- Have proven performance on successful projects delivered safely, on time and in budget.
- Previous Mining experience preferred with BHP, Rio Tinto and Roy Hill.
