The Positions & Role
Due to continuing growth, we areseeking a Junior Property and Commercial Lawyer to join our growing team. Thesuccessful applicant(s) will be responsible for:
- Taking instructions and providing legal advice in a broad range of matters including property & commercial matters.
- Taking primary file handling responsibilities with supervision
- Working alongside partners and other lawyers on complex matters.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
About you
Ideally you will have the following:
- 1-2 years post admission experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Law or an equivalent qualification.
- Admission or the ability to be admitted as a Lawyer in Victoria
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Quick learner.
- Process driven, with excellent attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other platforms.
- Familiarity with LEAP/Smokeball preferable but not essential.
- Due to our client base, candidates fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is well regarded, but not essential.
