We have an opportunity for a Junior to join our Scout Recycling Depot at Slacks Creek in QLD and support both our driveway customers and Commercial operations.
About you:
- Availability across weekends and weekdays during our Depot open hours
- Reliable and willing to work
- Ability to accurately count in high volumes
- Provide great customer service
- Able to work part of a team
About the Role:
Customer Service
- Direct customers in an orderly fashion into the driveway
- Greet customers politely and assist in unloading vehicles (only where safe to do so)
- Count redeemable drink containers and accurately calculate the customer’s refund
- Process (upgrade) recycled materials
- Take docket to cashier for customers.\
Maintenance
- Assist where necessary with the loading and unloading of trucks (only staff with forklift and car licences).
- Sort redeemable drink containers according to type, either in the driveway or at the conveyor belt
- Assist in maintaining an orderly driveway, free from broken glass, boxes crates or any other debris
