About the Opportunity
Carey is currently seeking a Classroom Teacher to join the Junior School - Kew campus commencing from Term 3, 2024 until the end of the academic year.
Reporting to the Head of Junior School Kew, this role is responsible for providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all students, whilst also being the first point of contact for student families. Classroom Teachers with the Junior School, plan and implement effective programmes for all children in the class, providing authentic opportunities for student agency.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant Teaching qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of curriculum content, current curriculum approaches and teaching practices
- Demonstrated ability to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Possess exemplary skills and commitment to provide wellbeing support to students
- Active participation in professional learning and curriculum associations
- A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration
