Junior Site Engineer

TEN Recruitment are working closely with a WA owned civil contractor who deliver a variety of civil infrastructure and land development projects throughout Perth. With the order book growing due to recent tender success, we are now recruiting a Site Engineer on a permanent basis to assist with the delivery of upcoming projects. Your new role will be to provide technical and engineering support to a variety of infrastructure and land development projects.   Reporting directly to your Project Manager, you will be part of the Management team and will be responsible for the following:

• Support the Project Manager in ensuring adherence to the documentation requirements outlined in the contract
• Alongside the Project Engineer, review and plan the project to ensure technical aspects of the job are clear
• Liaise with the Project Engineer and the Project Planner regarding schedule issues and status of activities
• Act as a focal point for all technical based queries for associated subcontractors / suppliers
• Provide an ongoing comprehensive engineering perspective on the entire project (across disciplines) while adopting an open-minded approach to addressing any challenges.
• Perform assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks and methods to manage the hazards in order to prevent incidents, injury and damage
• Provide leadership, direction, supervision and management to all team members (direct & indirect)

  Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
• Exposure to multi-million-dollar civil infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated capability supporting project KPI compliance. 
• Have a strong understanding of drawings and technical specifications.
• A proven and excellent safety record from previous projects.
• MUST BE RESIDING IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS.
