BEAMS Software has an opportunity available for an experienced, enthusiastic, and focused Software Developer to join our BEAMS Team.
We are a locally owned and operated business providing a fully integrated software solution for the Building and Construction Industry.
You will be responsible for and may not be limited to:
Maintaining and implementing improvements to several current lines of our business – BEAMS Desktop, BEAMS CRM and Apple/ Android mobile applications.
Coming up with and collaborating on new ways to keep the applications fresh and relevant.
Liaise with software users for functionality.
Upkeep and creation of documentation.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the essential requirements as follows:
Confident trouble shooting skills with the ability to identify cause and develop patches/ fixes to resolve.
Additionally, to your technical skill set, you will require sound written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise professionally with Clients.
The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to continuous improvement, As well as the ability to work independently.
SQL Server and MySQL experience.
Ability to create efficiently in .Net, ASP, C#, PHP & MVC
Ability to create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Visual Studio
Apple and Android development experience (C# / Xamarin)
Have an initiative to research and a desire to learn new skills.
The following skills/ experience are highly desirable but not essential:
Experience with version control systems including TFS and Git
ORM experience including Entity Framework
Graphic design tool experience would be beneficial (adobe fireworks)
Handlebar’s experience
Moustache experience
FullCallendar.io experience
DXHTML Gantt experience
Basic Networking & Office 365 knowledge
Not essential but would most definitely be an advantage to have knowledge of the Building and Construction Industry.
This is a Fulltime position - Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm in a friendly, professional working environment based in High Wycombe WA.
