Torque Power supports the owners and operators of Cummins-powered equipment (road transport, mining, marine, industrial, construction and agriculture) right across Australia and the South Pacific, with parts and service, and have been doing so for over 40 years.
In addition to a huge selection of Cummins parts (more than 90,000 individual parts – from the smallest washer, through to an engine block), Torque Power provide other resources like wiring diagrams, manuals, parts information and product images – and more.
The Role
Working as part of a SMALL friendly team, you will be involved in ALL general day to day warehouse, dispatch and delivery operations including (but not limited to):
- Receive products, label correctly, and store in the correct location.
- Prepare and dispatch all customer orders.
- Accurate recording and documentation of all orders.
- Stocktake and stock control.
- Assisting to maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- General warehouse tasks as required.
- Local deliveries if required.
This is a genuine role in a supportive and successful business. This role may be a steppingstone to an apprenticeship in the near future for the right candidate.
What We Provide:
- Permanent Full Time role
- An attractive hourly rate plus Superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate dependent on experience.
What We Need from You:
- Willingness to learn with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
- Reliability, exceptional work ethic and an understanding of the need for punctuality and efficiency.
- Highly process driven with proven ability to carry out Order Picking, Receiving, and Dispatch of Products.
- Health & Safety conscious.
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks with demonstrated time management skills.
- A current driver’s licence is Essential (a truck licence is NOT required – You will drive either a utility or van).
- A current Forklift Licence is desired but NOT a requirement.
- MUST BE physically fit as regular manual lifting is required (up to 25kg).
