Are you up for the challenge?

We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join our Rail Engineering and Integration team based in our Pyrmont Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture Project requirements using appropriate systems and media.
  • Categorise, rank and allocate requirements using appropriate methods in order to support prioritisation, review and verification of closure.
  • Coordinate inputs to requirements traceability activities.
  • Exercise professional judgement in resolving interface issues, i.e. systemwide requirements, or unallocated requirement.
  • Demonstrate financial management skills including demonstrated behaviour in reducing costs and meeting budgets
  • Implement processes for collecting, collating and communicating data to evidence that requirements have been met.
  • Maintain the requirements database for the project.
  • Develop communication protocols and processes with stakeholders to support effective reporting against compliance with requirements.
  • Demonstrate skills in reporting on project performance, compliance and/or non-conformance
  • Demonstrate people management skills by being able to manage work and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes
To be successful in this key role:
  • Tertiary qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline
  • 2+ year post graduate experience within a technical field.
  • Experience in identifying and understanding both technical and process requirements
  • Programming knowledge and strong database management skills will be highly regarded.
