About theOpportunity
The role of JuniorSystems Engineer is to support and maintain the Banks’ Windows serverinfrastructure for both Enterprise and Business applications to ensure ITsystems operate at optimal levels. Reporting to the Head of IT Services, keyresponsibilities include:
- Install, configure,test and maintain operating systems, application software and system managementtools
- Proactively ensurethe highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security
- Monitor and testapplication performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions,and work with IT team to implement those fixes
- TechnicalDocumentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes,procedures, and configurations to assist both the IT team and end-users
- Write and maintaincustom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human interventiontime on any tasks
- Provide support forinfrastructure related matters
- Liaise with vendorsand other IT personnel for problem resolution
- IT AssetManagement: Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and softwarelicenses, ensuring compliance and optimal utilisation.
About You
We areseeking someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Tertiaryqualifications in a Computer Science/Technology or comparative technical field
- Minimum of 2 yearsas a System Administrator or IT Systems Engineer
- Technical knowledgeand experience with Microsoft Enterprise Server technologies
- Experience withMicrosoft Cloud technologies such as Office 365 Administration, Azure ActiveDirectory, Exchange Online (Hybrid), Security and Compliance, Microsoft Teams,SharePoint,
- Excellentproblem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability tocommunicate complex concepts to a broad range of stakeholders
