Position
Borger Cranes is looking for a permanent full time Junior WHS Administration Officer to support the Safety Team nationally working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
The position is located in our Head Office located at Glendenning NSW and off-street parking will be provided.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is mature, ethical, can manage tight deadlines and competing priorities and maintain confidential information.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the HSEQ Manager and team with all administrative tasks to:
- maintain our internal safety management system.
- manage and review any HSEQ issues and procedures.
- liaise with clients, prospective clients and supervisors to organise inductions, take enquiries and ensure all site-specific paperwork for safety and quality is provided.
- assist in the monitoring and maintenance of site project visits register in relation to quality and Safety issues, forums and audits.
- ensure all staff are appropriately inducted and have the necessary qualifications and organising attendance at site specific inductions, safety training and refresher training.
- assist in the regular blanket testing and random testing as required for drugs, alcohol etc.
- undertake internal auditing as needed.
Skills & Experience
Effective and positive communicator.
Knowledge of or willing to learn risk management applicable to the crane industry.
The ability to be flexible and have strong multitasking skills.
Reliability and punctuality with a willingness to work weekends (only if required).

Desirable - Knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Desirable - Knowledge of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
Desirable - Good knowledge of the relevant Work Health and Safety legislation or willingness to learn.
Desirable – First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Desirable – Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety or willingness to gain within a 12-24 month timeframe.
Personal Specifications
Intermediate to advanced skills across Microsoft Office 365 suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Quickly adapts to new technology and systems and is comfortable trying new systems.
High level of professional communication and writing skills.
Maintains a very high work ethic and integrity at all times, particularly as the person will be subject to highly confidential information.
