About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Just Brass Coordinator! You will engage with at-risk students in partnering primary schools, through provision of brass instrument tuition and leadership development opportunities.
Responsibilities include
Organise Just Brass events each year, minimum one per term in school and in the community
Engage with Corps Ministry Team (e.g., Youth Worker) to connect graduating Year 6 (or 7) Just Brass students with youth program
Develop working pathways to other (Corps) ministry initiatives, particularly those engaging children and families
Manage safe transportation of students to all band rehearsals, performances and special events
Ensure school personnel are kept informed of Just Brass activities
This is a fixed-term part-time position, 5 hours per week contracted for 12 months, based in Belmont, VIC.
