As we celebrate an exciting time with growth and strong financial results, we have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Key Account Manager, Business Development to join our team.
Based at Northgate, Brisbane, you will essentially work autonomously and be supported by a large team of sales professionals, and a business unit sales lead.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing critical business opportunities with businesses across Queensland in the mid-market sector.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end customer account management of client revenue, retention and profitability for all Cleanaway products and services provided, customer service and satisfaction, ensuring product/service delivery with operational excellence, and credit performance.
- Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation, and company image.
- Prepare and submit regular market intelligence, tender activity, and competitor activity reports.
- Proactively manage prospect and customer relationships effectively through transition and handover to the Account and Key Account Management team to maximise customer experience and share of wallet/market share.
- Identifying, targeting, and acquiring new Key Accounts & building a pipeline of new opportunities.
- Prepare sales presentations and regular reports on account status, revenue, and growth opportunities.
- Strong strategic business-to-business sales experience, converting prospects and quotes into profitable new business.
- Proven ability to utilise interpersonal and sales skills at multiple levels within a client organisation to maximise sales for new business.
- Significant commercial acumen, financial, quoting, budgeting, preparing for and facilitating new business meetings.
- Engage and proactively lead and coach teams, sales and account management training methodologies that will benefit subordinates' growth.
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with a Sales CRM is desirable.
- Valid Driver's License (Unrestricted).
