We are seeking a Key Account Manager - Pharmacy to join our team based in North Sydney. You will join our Consumer Business Unit in the North Sydney Office three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely the other two days.


You will report to the National Business Manager - Pharmacy and be responsible for leading and developing Galderma's business strategies to establish and exceed profitable relationships with selected State & National Pharmacy Banner Groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute integrated sales strategies and promotional programs to drive year-on-year sales and profitable growth within selected Pharmacy Banner Groups.

  • Strive for category leadership both on and off the shelf to maximize results.

  • Close distribution gaps in collaboration with the Galderma Field Team.

  • Assist the National Business Manager in implementing Key Account strategies to drive excellence in account execution.

  • Accelerate distribution and drive profitable sales growth.

  • Achieve annual sales growth and trade promotional spend targets for assigned customers.

  • Own customer forecasting and propose required investment levels during annual Brand and Account Planning processes.

  • Negotiate and establish Account Trading Terms, ensuring compliance.

  • Provide regular performance updates against account KPIs, including scan results and ex-factory tracking.

  • Manage total trade investment in assigned accounts to targeted levels.

  • Monitor promotional effectiveness, analyse ROI, and adjust plans as needed.

  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and reviews.

  • Monitor and correct assigned inventory shortfalls.

  • Collaborate with the brand team to implement National Brand campaigns at the account level.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams for customer and shopper activations and NPD launches.

  • Provide direction and leadership to the 3rd party field team to maximize execution.

  • Stay updated on competitor activities and provide timely updates to the business.

  • Attain a high level of product technical knowledge and basic understanding of skin conditions and diseases through internal training.

  • Support the NBM in promotional management of Tier 1 banners, including administration and event/campaign coordination.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Key Account Management experience in the FMCG industry.

  • Experience in Health & Beauty, and Pharmacy or Grocery channel is desirable.

  • Proficiency in IRI/Aztec and IQVIA databases.

  • Proficient in Negotiation & Influence, Customer/Consumer/HCP Sales Management, 4P/3D/CARS Execution.

  • Knowledge in Business Planning & Monitoring, Building Business/Customer Relationships, Brand and Consumer Promotion Management, Consumer/Customer/HCP Shopper Insights, and Finance.
