About the role

We are looking for an allied health professional or Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about reaching outcomes for children and families in the Penrith region.

Are you experienced in working with children aged 0-9 years, particularly operating within a Key Worker and multidisciplinary model?

We are flexible in relation to the background of a suitable person for this role, apart from a minimum of an undergraduate qualification in occupational therapy or physiotherapy or speech pathology or early childhood education is an essential requirement.

You will be putting your exceptional skills to use as you...

  • Assist with projects which improve clinical practice and service delivery
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver much needed Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services to participants within schools, homes and the community
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be successful you will have:

  • University qualifications in one of the following fields - Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology or Early Childhood Education
  • Extensive experience in working with children aged 0-7 years and families
  • Experience in delivering services under the NDIS
  • Strong knowledge and advocation for the Key Worker model
  • Demonstrated suitability to working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a caseload
  • A desire and passion to deliver high quality, evidence based therapeutic ECI services.
  • Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
  • Be an excellent communicator
