About the Centre
Our Atherstone Estate early learning centre opened in 2019 and caters for children aged 6 weeks old in our nursery to 6 years old within our comprehensive Kindergarten Program. We are located at the corner of Atherstone Boulevard and Bridge Road, only a short distance from the Wilton Fields Park and Atherstone Adventure Park. With 8 spacious indoor rooms, there is plenty of room for your child to play, explore and learn with the support of our experienced and friendly educators.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to design and embed your own curriculum and be part of building the Aspire name in the community. At Aspire we pride ourselves on ensuring the children, families and educators are recognized and supported through our programs and community engagements.
The successful candidate will aspire and thrive for new heights in the delivery of quality education. This role requires a team player that is insightful and can drive our kinder program with their unique skills and talents.
Responsibilities
- Marketing and implementing the educational program and achieving quality learning outcomes
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, and team members
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests
- Building connections with the local community
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
About you
- Must hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Degree or equivalent with current VIT registration
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Current VIT registration, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate
