About the Centre/Service Arrabri Kindergarten is a small, stand-alone, not for profit sessional kindergarten run by a Committee of Management with a strong commitment to the Community. We are currently running a four-year-old group and a three/four integrated group.

Work Days of the Role Currently Tues, Weds & Friday sessions, with additional duties/tasks to be done in flexible non-contact time. Starting Term 3 or possibly earlier.
Hours of Work of the Role 22.5 contact/teacher hours and 11.25 non-contact hours.
Description Arrabri Kinder is looking for an experienced and professional ECT for our combined 3 and 4-year-old groups! We will also be seeking to appoint a Nominated Supervisor post this appointment so if you have leadership experience or a desire to take the next step in your career then this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. You will:
- Deliver our high-quality, curriculum.
- Develop relationships with children and families, providing regular updates on each child’s progress.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment for all children.
- Work with amazing, supportive, and collaborative colleagues.
You will showcase:
- Your excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with the committee, children, parents, other staff, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in
Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as assessed by ACECQA).
- Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- First aid qualifications including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Australian working rights.

Additional Requirements
- Solid experience in a similar teaching role.
- Sound knowledge/understanding of the VEYLDF, EYLF & NQS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with staff, children and families positively, proactively and regularly.
