Early Childhood Teacher, 3&4 Yo Combined Group

About the Centre/Service Arrabri Kindergarten is a small, stand-alone, not for profit sessional kindergarten run by a Committee of Management with a strong commitment to the Community. We are currently running a four-year-old group and a three/four integrated group.

Description Arrabri Kinder is looking for an experienced and professional ECT for our combined 3 and 4-year-old groups! We will also be seeking to appoint a Nominated Supervisor post this appointment so if you have leadership experience or a desire to take the next step in your career then this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. You will:

• Deliver our high-quality, curriculum.
• Develop relationships with children and families, providing regular updates on each child’s progress.
• Foster a nurturing and safe environment for all children.
• Work with amazing, supportive, and collaborative colleagues.

You will showcase:

• Your excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with the committee, children, parents, other staff, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as assessed by ACECQA).

• Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• First aid qualifications including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
• Australian working rights.

Additional Requirements

• Solid experience in a similar teaching role.
• Sound knowledge/understanding of the VEYLDF, EYLF & NQS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with staff, children and families positively, proactively and regularly.
