About the role
As the successful applicant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Creating an environment that is engaging, interactive, and exciting for children to learn, play and grow (Critical to the role)
- Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law (and applicable regulations) and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care
- Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the centre’s Code of Conduct
- Implementing and upholding the centre’s philosophy whilst performing your role and everyday duties
- Implementing contemporary, research-based practices
- Maintaining and upholding Workplace Health and Safety and Privacy and Confidentiality
- Providing support and assistance to the Director and Approved Provider/Management Committee
About you
The successful applicant will hold:
- An Early Childhood Teacher qualification (Bachelor, Master of Teaching, Bachelor equivalent) recognised by ACECQA
- Must be registered with VIT
- Approved and current First Aid, CPR, and emergency management of Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to plan and execute an inclusive play-based Reggio inspired program that is supportive of children's interests and strengths
- Demonstrated experience dealing with challenging behaviours
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an educational program that is aligned to EYLF and best practice
