Our team is growing and we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and community minded practitioner to join our team.

The Kinship Care Contracting Case Manager forms part of our Kinship Contracting Case Management Team which provides care and oversight for children who are unable to live with their Birth Family, however, are still able to live with other family or person in their network. These Children are on Care by Secretary Orders and there will be opportunities for family to become their permanent guardians through the support and oversight offered by this program.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Kinship Contracted Case Manager to support Kinship Carer families who are caring for children or young people on Statutory Orders (CBSO?s), who are unable to live with their birth families. You will hold previous case management experience in a community services organisation, providing services to a range of clients. You will have experience managing risk, completing risk assessments, and managing the needs of children and their carers.

Our successful candidates will hold the below skills and attributes:

• Thrive in working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic and experienced team environment.
• Relevant Social work Degree, Diploma in Welfare studies, youth work or related qualification (Mandatory)
• Demonstrated experience in case management supporting family networks who are caring for children or young people on Statuary Orders (CBSO?s) (Mandatory)
• Ability and experience to build capacity and skills in carers and families through education around child development where needed or required (Highly Desirable) 
• Strong and  authentic interpersonal skills with experience working with a range of clients

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant Social work Degree, Diploma in Welfare studies, youth work or related qualification
