SalaryWe are currently looking for experienced kitchenhands / servery staff to work within the main kitchen and serving areas of Aged Care facilities.
These are casual positions, which means your hours will vary from week to week.
Sometimes you will be contacted with plenty of notice and other times you may be asked to work asap if available.
The kitchen environments are very busy so you must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Duties:
- Assisting with basic, general food preparation.
- Cleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchen.
- Set up / pack away dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation and delivery of meals to the residents whilst treating them with dignity, respect and support them to help maintain their identity.
- Ensure provision of meals in accordance with resident’s diet requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
To be successful:
- At least 3months experience working within a kitchen.
- You will be confident to work on your own at times.
- You must be able to provide two recent work referees.
- Hold a current criminal / police clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport
- Have or be willing to get the current flu vaccine.
- Have had three Covid-19 Vaccinations.
