About the Role
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Reporting to the Chef, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the team by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes, and assisting in meal preparation and service. Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment is essential, as the role demands efficiency, teamwork, and dedication. This position is for a fixed term.
We are looking for someone with solid hands-on experience in the kitchen.
Requirement
- Proven experience in efficiently preparing and serving meals on schedule for groups exceeding 100 individuals.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Adherence to stringent health and safety protocols within kitchen premises, encompassing food preparation and service areas.
- Ability to work autonomously, exhibiting self-motivation and initiative in identifying and addressing tasks.
- Passion for culinary arts and enjoyment in cooking.
- Exceptional standards of hygiene.
- Proficiency in time management and resilience under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be a team player and be flexible in adapting to various teamwork dynamics.
