The Australian Brushware Corporation/DIY Resolutions group of companies are well established importers, distributors and manufacturers of MONARCH painting tools and accessories and DIY modular flat packed storage products - including the FLATPAX and KABOODLE brands - for kitchens, laundries and bathrooms. It supplies leading retailers, including Bunnings, and other specialist retailers, throughout Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role.
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the Kitchen Displays within your allocated stores; whether cleaning, changing or completely altering them. This is a customer facing role in a fast-paced environment. It is a great opportunity for a skilled Cabinet maker, Carpenter, to take the next step and work in and with a sales team, or change direction from the factory floor. The role will suit a self-motivated individual with a commitment and an eye for detail who has a strong desire to contribute to our continued business growth. This is a physically demanding and rewarding role.
Location
The role will be based from our Brisbane office in the western suburbs but you will be expected to cover a wide region between Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast on occasions. Some regional travel will be required. Get your weekends back!
Skills and Experience.
You will come from a joinery, cabinet making, installation and/or experienced background - this is a must.
Ideally you will have experience in one of these areas,
- Kitchen installations
- Benchtops and Splashbacks
- Shop Fitting
- Caravan Fit Outs
You will have a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, well presented, high customer focused and an excellent communicator.
All applicants are required to have a current and valid driver's licence and access to a computer.
Experience within the Hardware industry would be well regarded. Good skills in MS Office to create reports for your completed work.
Duties and Responsibilities.
You will work closely with the Sales Team and will report through to the Display & Maintenance Coordinator in Qld
Your key focuses include:
- Ability to install, construct and maintain displays within our customer's stores;
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness across your allocated store displays (cleaning displays);
- Complete on site warranty visits with a high attention to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to complete planograms, relays and refresh displays;
- Working both independently and within a team environment;
- Demonstrate pride in execution and a high level of detail;
- In conjunction with the key stakeholders, to maintain strong relationships and excellent communication lines with our customers, peers and management.
