About the Role
You will mainly be responsible for the movement of domestic and international goods in compliance with local and international law.
This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and will be offered on a Monday to Friday roster based at Jandakot, WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate pre-shipping instructions and work with service providers on movements
- Ensure products meet required delivery in the most efficient method
- Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain documentation as per company and business requirements
- Gather and analyse data to align service requirements and measure trends
Role Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar logistics or domestic transport role
- Certification in IATA or IMDG
- Background in transportation industry
- Knowledge of potential movement constraints or hazards
- Experience in a variety of transport modes (Ocean, Air or Land)
- Able to utilize or learn SAP
- Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
