We are looking for a part time Kitchen Hand to join the team at Woodvale for 30 hours per week.

About The Role
As well as demonstrating Community Vision’s core values of Innovation, Empowerment, Accountability, Respectfulness, Boldness and Inclusivity, you will be assisting the Chef cook 20 to 30 meals in the Woodvale Social Centre and 15 to 20 meals for delivery each day Monday to Friday. The Delivery meals are dispatched by drivers before lunch is served to in-house customers each day. We also provide a birthday cake when a client has a birthday!
Kitchen Hand responsibilities also include:
Preparation and cooking of meals for the centre and for the "Meals on Wheels"
Assist with planning menus
Assist with ordering food and cleaning products required for the program
Ensure compliance with all regulations and food safety standards
Ensure a high standard of food quality, consistency or preparation and presentation
Manage the storage of food
Demonstrate teamwork and accountability

What You Need To Succeed
You have a heart for people and passion for food
Administration and planning skills
Knowledge of food standards
National Police Clearance (no less than 6 months old)
NDIS Worker Screening check (or willing to obtain)
Covid and Flu vaccinations
No qualification necessary however will be desirable
