'Susuru Ramen and Gyoza' Restaurant in Newcastle CBD is a traditional Japanese ramen restaurant, We have an own factory to make Japanese dumpling which calls ’Gyoza' and also making a ramen broth.
Our workers are very friendly and great work environment to learn different skills and knowledge of cooking.
The staff who works at the restaurant are Australian and Japanese (includes international students) which will be a great experience to work with and learn lots of different culture.
We are seeking Casual Kitchen hand / Junior Kitchen hand who can start immediately.
We require professionally minded staff to join our team.
Successful candidates will be able to work flexibly within our roster which includes weekends and public holidays.
The ideal candidates for seeking position:
- Have at least 6 months experience in a similar role
- Confident to work in a busy restaurant
- Flexibility (15-25 hours a week includes weekend and split shifts)
- Have knowledge of Food Safety and Cleaning procedure
- Interest in Japanese culture
Junior Kitchen hand - We welcome the students who does not have work experience, come and join us, our friendly staff will teach you :)

Remuneration is based on award levels and is negotiable based on experience and performance.
