Qualifications & experience
- Food handling qualification is an advantage
- Catering food and drinks preparation skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Take resident food order, process food and drinks, deliver the food to the resident.
- Ability to work independently, strive for excellence in residential kitchen and promote an environment of harmony and trust with team and residents
- Sound knowledge and skills of residential aged care food and drinks, understand the food safety, hygiene and food handling as per the food standards of Residential aged care.
- Kitchen stock take and making sure kitchen premises is appealing with good presentation.
- Contributing to a hygienic work environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors and work areas at front and back of Kitchen and ensuring that safety (WHS), cleanliness standards set by Kanandah are maintained.
