Job title: L1 Helpdesk Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level L1 Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support to our clients in the IT industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and providing excellent customer service.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and networks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Knowledge of helpdesk software and ticketing systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide first level support to end users via phone, email, or chat
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and update software applications
- Maintain accurate records of all helpdesk interactions
- Escalate complex issues to higher level technicians when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in IT preferred
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or customer service role is a plus
- CompTIA A+ certification is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
