The role:
The Level 2/Level 3 Site Support Officer is responsible for delivering IT support to the site, which includes:
Delivering IT Refresh and Improvement Projects;
Commissioning new software (for example: PC SOE) and hardware;
Checking that installations align with the company’s IT framework;
Completing risk assessments and testing, handling escalated jobs;
Managing IT Project work to ensure that operations have fit-for-purpose hardware and communications infrastructure;
Configuring services and switches and
Delivering a high standard of customer helpdesk IT support.
Selection criteria:
This 3-6-month contract is available to a candidate with substantial experience in Level 2 or Level 3 Support in a MS environment and is familiar with VM Ware, Windows 2012 and has solid knowledge of basic networking principles. To be successful you will require commissioning experience and experience in establishing IP addresses and switching. Your sound problem-solving skills and have excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service will see you secure this role. Contract may be extended into a permanent role.
