Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive L3 Systems Engineerto join our clients Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, client interaction, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Cloud Infrastructure, server management, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
1. Client Interactions
- Engage with clients on a regular basis to understand their needs, challenges, and technology requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss their technology roadmap and execute it effectively.
- Provide clients with regular updates on project milestones and ensure alignment with their business goals.
- Attend onsite client meetings to assess their environment and present technical solutions.
2. Technical Expertise
- Design and implement technical solutions to meet client requirements, leveraging your expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure (Azure AD Conditional Access), Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), server infrastructure (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Conditional Access.
- Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Manager to manage, enrol devices, and deploy policies (including workstations, mobile phones, and macOS devices).
- Manage server infrastructure efficiently.
VMWare and Hyper-V experience
3. Proactive System Improvement
- Proactively assess client environments and recommend improvements to optimize performance, security, and prevent potential issues.
- Be proactive in addressing potential issues to prevent reactive incidents.
- Collaborate with clients to enhance their systems’ performance, security, and reliability.
4. Incident Management
- Act as the first point of contact for client escalations.
- Resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely resolution.
- 5. Additional Skills (Beneficial)
- Familiarity with Azure Information Protection implementation.
- Knowledge of Veeam and Azure backups.
6. Qualifications
- While formal qualifications are not mandatory, the candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of the technologies mentioned above.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMWare certifications) are advantageous.

- Proven track record in managing client relationships and technical projects.
