Laboratory Systems Officer

About the company/role:
Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane is seeking a Laboratory Systems Officer for a causal fulltime position, working Monday to Friday, for 3 months with possible extension. This role is predominantly desk-based, needing a high attention to detail.
NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment, drug screening and police check to be eligible for this role.
Duties:

• Review of system messages and audit trails and generate documentation for laboratory completion.
• Review of system data using predefined criteria to ensure all data is completed and closed out.
• Transfer of data from instruments to network locations to support laboratory processes.
• Adding and removing users from systems.
• Compiling lists of system users for reviews.

Skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree of Science or IT
• Experience in withing a laboratory environment with knowledge of Empower, LIMS etc would be an advantage
• Knowledge of GMP documentation
• High level of competency with computer software programmes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
