AddressLooking for someone to perform timely and accurate preparation and testing of samples and record and communicate the results, to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory and an outstanding level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in continuous improvement activities within the laboratory and cross-functionally to improve food
- safety and quality standards, increase productivity and reduce waste
- Perform testing in accordance with sample plan requirements
- Perform testing in accordance with standard test methods
- Record samples and results accurately in SAP
- Report results to internal and external customers in a timely manner
- Ensure relevant analysis data is recorded
- Participate in daily taste panel evaluations on all products produced
- Release products, or place on hold using appropriate paperwork
- Micro testing
Skills & experience:
- BSc science, food science or microbiology degree (Graduates who have completed placements or internships are highly encouraged to apply)
- 6 months-1year lab experince is required
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Microsoft Word, Excel
- Practical experience in a laboratory serving external or internal customers
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety, HACCP based food safety plan
