Situated in Marulan, NSW, within our Peppertree Quarry, we're on the lookout for a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Quarry Laboratory Technician! In this role, working independently and reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be engaged in a variety of tasks, including sampling, testing, training, supervision, record maintenance, and reporting results for our diverse range of quarry-related products.
Your day will involve:
- Conduct collection of Quarry samples on site
- Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
- Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
- Complete Monthly Belt Cuts for sampling on production materials as required
- Safe Work Priority - a commitment to safety and quality
- Experience as a raw material tester would be an advantage
- Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc).
- An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
