Our client is an established family-owned business operating predominantly in South East Queensland, they are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join their team, either experienced or entry level to support and assist their installers. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of their worksite.
This role has a definite career progression plan, our client is looking for a motivated individual who will take approx 12mth to learn the role and progress to a Fitter / Installer. This is not your average labouring role, it has career progression, machines do the digging and they supply work on rain days!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks on the worksite.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Self- starter with good communication skills.
- Current car licence with own vehicle to travel to depot (Nambour) is essential.
- Desire to progress within the company. Opportunity to upskill with training provided and progress to a supervisor position.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to travel within our South Queensland region with early starts compulsory. (Company car provided for travel from depot)
- Machine tickets. (excavator/pozzy – an advantage but not essential)
